How IntelliGlossary processes and protects information when your organization uses the app in Atlassian Confluence.

Effective: August 2, 2026Last updated: August 2, 2026
In brief: IntelliGlossary is built on Atlassian Forge. Core app data is stored in Atlassian-hosted storage and separated by each app installation. We do not sell personal information or use app data for advertising. AI features are optional and only send selected content to the configured provider when they are used.

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

IntelliGlossary is provided by LH Buyer Technology LLC ("LH Buyer Technology," "we," "us," or "our"), 30 N Gould St, Suite 4000, Sheridan, Wyoming, 82801, United States of America. This policy applies to information processed by IntelliGlossary. Atlassian separately controls information processed by Confluence and the Atlassian platform under Atlassian's own privacy policies.

2. Information the app processes

Depending on the features your organization uses, IntelliGlossary may process:

Please do not place sensitive personal information in glossary terms, definitions, discovery content, or AI prompts unless your organization has determined that doing so is appropriate.

3. Why we process information

We process this information to provide glossary management and discovery, permissions and review workflows, import and export, auditing, optional definition suggestions, security, diagnostics, and customer support. We do not use customer content to build advertising profiles or sell it to third parties.

4. Storage, tenant separation, and security

IntelliGlossary uses Atlassian Forge hosted storage for its core data. Atlassian separates hosted app data by installation and encrypts it at rest. LH Buyer Technology does not operate a separate application database for core IntelliGlossary content.

We apply access controls in the app based on Confluence access and IntelliGlossary roles. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, but we limit the information processed and use the security controls provided by Forge.

5. Optional AI Definition Assistant

The AI Definition Assistant is disabled unless an administrator enables and configures it. When a user requests a suggestion, the term and relevant information—such as selected source-page context—may be sent to the configured AI provider solely to generate the requested output.

Administrators can disable AI features or change the provider in IntelliGlossary Settings.

6. When information is shared

We share information only as needed to provide and protect IntelliGlossary, comply with law, or respond to a valid customer request. Relevant service providers may include Atlassian for Forge hosting and, only when AI is enabled and used, the selected AI provider. We do not sell or rent app data.

7. Retention and deletion

App data is retained while the relevant IntelliGlossary installation is active, unless an authorized user deletes it sooner. After uninstall, hosted data follows Atlassian Forge's deletion lifecycle and is normally retained for up to 28 days before permanent deletion. Limited recovery may be possible during Atlassian's recovery window with customer consent.

Audit records and ignored-term records may be retained as part of the app's governance features until an authorized administrator deletes or replaces them, or the app is uninstalled.

8. GDPR account anonymization

IntelliGlossary registers Atlassian's Forge workspace-forget event. When Atlassian sends an account deletion request, the app replaces affected account references in term records, audit entries, and settings with a stable anonymous token. The app does not log plaintext account identifiers during this process.

9. Data residency and international processing

Forge-hosted data follows Atlassian's supported data residency controls. If your organization enables an external AI provider, data sent to that provider may be processed in other locations according to the provider configuration and terms selected by your organization.

10. Your choices and privacy requests

Your Confluence or IntelliGlossary administrator can manage roles, settings, glossary records, exports, AI configuration, and deletion requests. To request access, correction, export, or deletion of information associated with you, first contact your organization's Atlassian administrator. If further help is needed, use the customer support contact shown on IntelliGlossary's Atlassian installation or Marketplace listing.

11. Cookies and tracking

IntelliGlossary does not set its own advertising cookies or use third-party advertising trackers. Atlassian may use cookies and similar technologies to operate Confluence and Forge under Atlassian's policies.

12. Children

IntelliGlossary is a workplace application and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as IntelliGlossary, its providers, or applicable requirements change. We will update the date at the top of this page and, when appropriate, provide additional notice.
